LONELY OCTOPUS SERVICE STRUCTURE
The Lonely Octopus program is an 8-week program. You’ll first received a personalized study plan specific to your skill level, specific interests and priorities. You’ll then follow your study plan while supported by mentor. There will also be weekly events, including talks and tutorials on industry trends and specific requested topics. Finally, for the last 2 weeks of the program, you will complete a project at a real company to apply the skills you learned throughout the program and truly experience what it’s like to work on AI in the real world.

Yes! The custom study plan is designed to meet you where you are, based on your skill level and what you're interested in learning. We will focus on skills and technologies in data and AI that you're interested in learning. We would also recommend that you focus on projects, especially the freelance projects that will give you the opportunity to apply your skills to help real companies.

We recommend a minimum of 2 hours/wk to make steady progress. Of course, life happens so some weeks you might do 6 hours and some you may not have any time at all. That's okay - that's why Lonely Octopus is designed to be self-paced. 🐙🐙
